How does ACEL serve regional Australia?
At ACEL, we are dedicated to serving education leaders and professionals in regional Australia. We understand the unique challenges that come with leading and teaching in more remote areas, and we are committed to providing the support and resources you need to succeed.
No matter where you are located, ACEL provides access to high-quality learning and networking opportunities. Through our members-only community platform, you can engage with fellow educators, join online webinars led by world-class presenters, and explore the Leaders' Library — a growing resource hub with hundreds of articles, podcasts, videos, and activities available anytime, anywhere.
Finally, to ensure all educators can access high-quality resources, our bookshop ships anywhere in Australia — with discounted pricing available for ACEL members.
Getting Started
How do I join ACEL and what membership options are available?
You can check out our membership categories and rates here. Simply click on the ‘join now’ button and follow the prompts.
I have an ACEL account, does that mean I am a member?
Not necessarily — any online transactions with ACEL will require you to create an account, just like any other online service provider.
While you don’t have to be a member to purchase resources or register for an ACEL event, members are eligible to receive discounted members’ rates and access hundreds of online resources available through the Members’ Lounge.
If unsure of your membership status, please contact [email protected] or call 02 8396 0821.
Can I sign up my organisation as a member?
ACEL offers institutional membership for organisations with 2 or more members. Rates will be determined by the number of staff you include as part of the membership. Organisations may nominate as few as 2 staff members or extend the membership to all staff. Membership benefits will apply only to those nominated by you at the time of joining.
Contact our membership team on 02 8396 0821 or email [email protected] to get started. Once signed up, our team will email each individual with their own unique login, allowing them to access the member benefits at their convenience.
My organisation holds an institutional membership, does that make me a member of ACEL?
The benefits of institutional membership are only available to the nominated individuals at the time of joining. Others from the organisation who have not been nominated will be treated as a non-member.
You can reach out to our team via [email protected] or call 02 8396 0821 to make any adjustments to your list of nominated members at any time.
Our team will contact you as part of the membership renewal process to confirm the list of nominated members each year before issuing you with the renewal invoice.
