Dr Brad Russell, Director Educational Leadership will introduce the Literacy Progressions with a focus on understanding text. This session will focus on the implications associated with leading the focus on understanding text to lift student achievement. Participants will be exploring the role of
formative assessment and the consistent teaching protocols needed to enhance teaching practice. Connections will be made to the Curiosity and Powerful Learning Theories of Actions to lead school improvement.
